SOME OF THE GUIDELINES FOR SUG ELECTION

For candidate to be eligible to contest any election, by virtue of section 39 of the AAUSUC

The candidate must have a registered Matriculation number and must have spent at least one session in any first degree program in The University (AAU)

The candidate must not have been guilty of misconduct the student disciplinary committee or any lawfully constituted tribunal. Any such candidate shall be disqualified running for an office save after two academic session

The candidate must not have contested in any elective post in the academic session
.
No candidate holding an executive post in any association club, society, or religious. Bodies affiliated to the Union shall contest election unless such a candidate have resigned from such post prior to nomination
.
The aspirant must not have a C. G. P. A. Below 2.50
.
In College Of Medicine, an aspirant must have passed his/her First his/her first (1) M. B. B. S exams and must have proceeded to 200 level.

Candidate must screened before they start campaign

Candidate must have to more than 2 carryover courses

Candidate must have paid their school fees for 2016/2017 session including restitution fee and must have signed their Oath Of Good Conduct

The nomination forms will be sold as follows:

*president=12000*
*vice president=10,000*
*sec gen=8000
*other exectuves =7000
*Parliament=5000
*Hall govo=7000
*Other Hall officers=5000

Screening of candidates will be on the 9th March 2017

Campaign will be from 10th to 14th March, 2017

The list of candidates qualified shall be pasted on the school noticeboard and website

No candidate should provide electronic voting facility in The University

All complaints should be readdressed to the chairman of Electoral Commission (ELECOM) Dean Of Students

THE MODE OF VOTING WOULD BE BY ELECTRONIC OR E-VOTING SYSTEM

SUG ELECTION IS ONLINE VOTING

Also NOTE SUG Election is on the 15th March 2017 and Manifesto is on the 14th March 2017
